Robert Bolen

Robert Bolen is an alumnus of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He invented Button Helper in 2013, to help a friend with Cerebral Palsy dress independently. Bolen has been issued four patents and won the 2020 Leonsis Family Entrepreneurship Prize. During his decade at the helm, Bolen oversaw mold-breaking partnerships with senior living centers, regional hospital networks, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Button Helper is currently available at 1,298 Veterans Health Administration locations across the United States, as well as a number of Defense Health Agency facilities. Bolen serves as an Expert-on-Call at Georgetown University and Mentor for the Summer Launch Incubator.
