As a primary caregiver for her mother living with Alzheimer’s Disease, Jessica has firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by families, particularly those navigating dementia care. She advocates for a collaborative approach to caregiving, urging individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to work together in creating a supportive environment. Through her innovative platform, When Career & Caregiving Collide™, Jessica shares valuable insights and strategies for balancing professional careers with caregiving responsibilities, aiming to elevate diverse caregiving narratives and ensure caregivers feel empowered and supported.

Jessica’s commitment to advocacy has garnered recognition from organizations such as AARP and Caring Across Generations for her community-building efforts and intentional approach to care. With over 13 years of experience in education and nonprofit management, she most recently served as Vice President and Chief Program Officer at Teach For America Dallas-Fort Worth. Currently, she channels her expertise into entrepreneurial initiatives focused on enhancing resources for caregivers and their loved ones.

A graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Sociology and Education Policy, Jessica also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Southern Methodist University. Her thought leadership has resonated across various platforms, including collaborations with Help Texts, ROON Dementia, the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers, ReImagine, and Hilarity for Charity just to name a few.
